Objective

Greenbee (part of the John Lewis Partnership) wanted to create a high-end travel site to attract bookings from their loyal John Lewis and Waitrose high street customers. Their aim was to develop a site which provided customers with a high quality, destination-driven service with access to a wide range of the best holiday products in the marketplace.

Strategy

Frommer’s Unlimited worked with Greenbee and its partners to create a lifestyle travel site with highly integrated and bookable travel products, to ensure that the maximum ROI was delivered from each customer who visited the site. As user experience was a primary focus for the project, it was important to provide a range of multimedia content products to engage with the customer throughout the booking cycle.

Frommer’s Unlimited delivered image-rich destination and events guides to over 150 worldwide cities and resorts, which were augmented with video guides to selected destinations. We then mapped each city, resort and country to corresponding hotel, package, attraction and luxury tailor-made offers from Greenbee’s third party suppliers. This ensured that each customer was able to interact with engaging content, combined with live offers that can be booked directly from the site.
